For a street car the factory jumper line is your best option. We offer ours because the fittings are reusable and you can reline the hose as a track/maintenance procedure for around $10.

Just to make sure I understand (using schwank's pictures from his other post - thanks, schwank!
):
this line is the fuel jumper line from the rennbay kit, right?
So... if I need to replace the jumper line, I just need regular, hi-temp fuel hose and use the old rennbay fittings?

Yes just contact an Aeroquip dealer and order some hose. The part number is on the hose. You maybe able to get more hose from travis at rennbay.

And you probably won't ever need new hose anyway. Mine look like brand new after a year of beating on them. You'd really have to try to destroy that thing. Heck the factory one lasted 20 years!

The dealer should still cover that line, under Porsche's SAFETY recall.
ANY safety recall from porsche, no matter what year, is always covered by the dealer. I had mine done 2 years back, free of charge from the dealer.
Updates recalls are not covered such as oil cooler seals, updated exhaust for the turbo and so on.
If the dealer says no, it is not covered, write and email to Porsche USA, along with the car's chassis number, and you're dealer's contact. They will let you know if the car has been updated with the recall and sort things out with the dealer.

Thanks for the tip!
Hmmm.... I thought that it might have been done already on my car, and that the new line had deteriorated. I vaguely recall putting my VIN iinto something that said all saftey recalls had been done...unfortunately, i don't remember what the website was...
