Default 360K on the clock!!!!

Glad to report that the daily has reached 360K miles today! So far, so good. She loves the cold weather that rolled in today. Between cold tires and cold intake temps, it feels like it's up 30 hp, lol. Damn I love this car!

so you've gone 360k miles on the original engine without rebuilding it?

I guess I'm still low milliage with my 244,000 kms.

Right on. You beat my 346k 86 turbo on original engine, tranny, and turbo but that was 4 years ago since I sold the car so I am not sure what it has now.

I did put rod and main bearings in it, they were still in acceptable condition tho. The head was pulled at 349K for inspection and a new set of valve springs. That was the factory original head and cam housing gaskets that came off at that time.

I'm at 131k right now and while I think its still mostly original engine, i've replaced a lot of stuff in just the past year...

pics.. sure, the one of the bores was taken at 349K when I did the valve springs. Two were broken, one inner and one outer on seperate cylinders. At that time the factory original head and cam housing gaskets were replaced.
