I may be wrong, but I think those are called a "shooting brake" or an estate hunting wagon. they made a one off for Ferry one year. Like that 914, or 916, 8 cylinder. I think they also made him a 6 or 8 cylinder 904 for his birthday one time. I know for a fact that he didn't appreciate it as much as I would have!!

Those first two actually look pretty cool! Does anybody know anything about them? It would solve the problem of where to put the auto-x rims on the way to the track!!!

I know this 924 pic has been around for a while, but it's still pretty crazy!

You know, I've seen that pic hundreds of times, but this is the first time I have noticed the different rear spoiler treatment on that car. Aftermarket? The car probably didn't even come with one originally.

I vote aftermarket for the early '24 that did not come with a rear spoiler.

the top beige/silver/whatever one is nice.

i like that style of "Wagon" conversion. the blue one is really really really dated.

the yellow one says to me- "i want to be an RX7!"

I don't have a picture, maybe someone here is familiar with the car. When at Watkins Glen a couple of years ago I saw a 944 pulling a trailer, said trailer was the back end of a 944 welded to the front of a 944, and was actually kind of cool looking. Definitely the strangest thing I saw at the track.
