Why not get magnetic numbers?

I got mine through edecals.com . Cost isnt bad at $36 for 4 numbers. I figure i use them often enough so its nice to not have to screw around with tape anymore. The club i auto-x with the most reserves your number each year.

If you get three different numbers you can get a couple of different combos of numbers if you run with a different club and cant get your normal number.

Well i got them for convienence and also the fact the auto-x chairman said tape was not acceptable for 'veterans'.

For magnetic numbers I'll be good and point out that one of the site sponsors specializes in magnetic numbers. Site gives a 10% discount to site members as well.

How well do they stick onto the side of the car? Last couple of times I've seen people using magnetic numbers they were still taping the edges on to prevent them from coming off while on the course.
