I got a new BOV from Paragon....
I upgraded to the billet finish one..
The engine idles and sounds better...
BUT...
I still don't get any boost....
I hear a boost leaking (hiss) but no pull...
i clamped the line btwn the wastegate and the cycling valve
I searched and the suggestion is "check the banjo bolt or J-boot"
What are they and most importantly WHERE are they?

J boot goes from Turbo to AFM. it's that rubber thing, that looks like a J.
Banjo bolt is on the hard line that goes around the top of the airbox. it's the bolt that bolts a vacuum line to that..

Mostly, that's a problem being that you're getting dirt in the engine... and pitting your turbo. with any of the hoses on the turbo being loose, causing a leak, that's where the hiss is coming from. Also, check the intercooler pipes, to see if they're propperly attached. if they're not, you don't boost.

I just went to the car and took of the intercooler pipe (btwn manifold and intercooler)
is it normal for it to be oily inside?
as i checked the J boot underneath.... i noticed that i was able to lift it up about an inch or two up...
(it is pretty loose
Air filter...
u know the air filter box has 4 screws to take off the filter... well only 3 screws are on b/c the plastic part that holds the two pieces broke...

Temprarily Banned per IB
The seals in the turbo are probably going, hence the oil. Just go ahead and tighten the hose clamps on both ends of both intercooler pipes, and the one on the turbo side of the j-boot.
If the air box is closed and three screws tighten, you're fine.

Russell
