Default Any Experience with Rennbay Ball Jt Upgrade?

Anyone have track experience with the Rennbay ball joint upgrade: http://www.rennbay.com/track-kit-wit...pins-p-97.html

Are these going to be as good/safe as doing aftermarket arms like Racer's Edge, Lindsey, etc? Sure are cheaper....

I plan to pick up the Track/Performance Ball Joint Kit this week. I don't have any experience with the Rennbay kits but I've heard positive comments from other people that have.

I just bought a set from Travis and will be installing them this Sunday. I'll let you know how it goes.

We installed the rennbay kit in my street driven 944 about 2 years ago. No problems, install went well. It is best to make a jig for compressing the spring so that you can get the bottom plate far enough in to allow the snap ring to install easily.

I defenetley reccommend getting the track kit with the bronze / aluminum bushings. They add tightness to the steering that you will probably like. I have about 7k miles on mine and they are holding up great, that includes four autocrosses.

Thanks for the feedback. What about drilling out the spindles? Did you take 'em to a local machine shop or ship 'em off to Rennbay for the service? It'll be a cultural experience finding a machinist here in the NC mountains. My welder affectionately calls me "Big'un"

I should have noted i went with the regular 17mm diameter pins. I think Travis said you can send him the spindles and he can have them drilled out, but i figure any decent machine shop can do it for you.

Two years with the Rennbay Track Kit w/17mm spindles- on the track. No Problems & the car still feels tight. I plan to pull both arms this winter to inspect. I'll post the results.

Aftermarket A-arms are on my short list of upgrades - for now the Rennbay BJs seem to be holding-up.

I installed an economy kit last winter, it was shot after 5000 miles.... I couldn't pass yearly MOT with them in August. I now have that track kit, I'm curious to see how well it stands mileage.

I have the track geometry correction kit. Great quality and price!
