Porsche on SpeedTV tonight...
Thought you guys might be interested....10pm tonight on Speed:
Porsche is different from the other “Victory by Design” shows in that it is largely archive-driven. It contains rare and fascinating film shot by Huschke Von Hanstein and Dr Ferry Porsche as they built up the Porsche company through the 1950s, using motor sport as a means of development and promotion on a world wide scale.
Combining this extensive archive film with Alain de Cadenet driving and appraising the milestone competition and production cars spanning Porsche’s history – from “Porsche Number One” through to the latest limited-edition supercar, the Carrera GT – a complete picture of the marque is built up. Adding to the mix are the authoritative insights of motoring historian and Porsche aficionado, Doug Nye.

I love that show. However, don't you folks think that Alain De Cadenet is a little lovey/dainty or is that the appeal? Maybe, I just answered my own question. Nevermind.

i watched a little bit while closing up at work. the opening sequence with the yellow (gt3???) drifting around the track was pretty sweet. didn't see much after the speedster intro.

Let me know what you think of it, greenshoes... I was thinking about ordering the DVD too but I didn't want to order it if it was like 30 seconds more footage than what they showed on Speed....
