I cannot get in touch with him, so please no one tell me to try to settle this like a gentleman off the boards, because I have sent him countless emails and called him AT LEAST 20 times.
I have been trying to resolve this for about 6-7 weeks.

Hey, one of the bicycling forums I belong to has a feedback section for transactions. There is a good section and a bad section. It is strictly moderated and is limited to facts only, no name calling, no personal attacks and pile-ons. A very useful tool when it comes to buying things from other members there, and especially, ebay. It has saved my **** a couple of times by calling out some nasty ebay sellers (when I was watching items they were selling and was planning on giving them my money before I checked the feedback section).

Sometimes you have to go public in order to get resolution. It's sad, but true.
It took me a year to get my $600 back from a rennlister, and I had to chase him over to 924.org and post a thread there just to get my money back.
AND THEN, He had the audacity to be furious at me for going public about it!! Excuuuuse me, but if you had been straight and honest with me from the begining, it would not have been a problem. It's a amazing how quickly I got my money once EVERYONE on the forum knew he had screwed me out of $600.
It took me a year to get my $600 back from a rennlister, and I had to chase him over to 924.org and post a thread there just to get my money back.

I believe I'm out about 2000 from d993 over a 944S2 LSD tranny... I still haven't gotten the tranny or my money back, or a tracking number, or even a response in about 2 weeks.
