Default 944 mechanic(s) in NY/CT?

I live in the NY/CT boarder near Lime Rock, CT (~100 miles north of NYC). Wondering if anyone can recommend a 944 mechanic in or around that area.

Thanks!

PO of my car had work done in the Canton shop.

There's also Musante Motorsports in Windsor, but that's directly north of Hartford. Might be a little far...

Looking for some help with electrics - speedo and odometer currently not working and gauge cluster cuts out unexpectedly, and the sunroof needs some work - 3 wires were cut. I don't mind attempting the mechanicals, but electrics scare me, esp. on these cars.

Call up George B. (944ecology- (845)364-4173 ) He was really helpful in finding me some garages for a PPI in Orange, Ulster, and Dutchess counties NY. I'm sure he knows a good wrench!

you should look into Fairfield County Motorsport. 190 Carter Henry Driver. Faircield, CT 06824. TEL: 203-256-9291.
They are a solid group and know what they are doing. They've won the One Lap of America three times in a 996.

When the guage don't work it's the "X" relay, a cheap fix. Get a VW relay 141951253B, it worked for me. I have a 1985/2 944.

Thanks, PP. I tried that, but no luck!
