Lin just heard from Scott! The car has been delivered! Said Jim took it for a drive, came back smiling from ear to ear, commenting about the pickup, how smooth the engine ran, and how good the car looks!

Joel, go ahead and post photos here and on Rennlist as soon as possible.

Jim was so touched, health permitting, he hopes to drive to RennTreffen this year!!! He had just received treatments, and we are optimistic about how things are going.

Scott is taking a circuitous route back to KC.

There was some very definite attention to detail. The dash photo is the one where first noticed it. But, actually it's that way on every part of the project.





I just spoke to Jim and he is thrilled. The car is just amazing.

Lisa and I just pullled in.... man, are we beat! It was great to see Jim be able to take a drive in the car, and you could tell they were pretty excited by the fact that they filmed us pulling up! lol

I'll post more tomorrow, but I really need to crash now...

Okay, I am finally coming back to life! Last I heard, Jim and Candy were still thrilled with how the car was running and looked, so I think its time we call this one a "project" and unsticky it from the top. Its been a pleasure to have been involved with such fine folks across the board, and be able to do something that REALLY matters for another person in our community!
