tranny mount solid VS OEM
So i think i need a tranny mount, lots of bouncing when I drop the clutch in 2&3rd. But i see that the LR solid mount is cheaper than the Stock mount.
any feed back on this?
or other options?

Solid makes for loads of noises and vibrations.
What I did was to fill a new stock one up with polyurethane. Stiffened it up really nicely. Even new OEM ones are like a wet noodle. I can take a pic of the polyurethane I used. It wasnt anything fancy, just some black stuff from the local hardware store.

Where to start.
First, I think its easier on the gearbox (less wheelhop)
Second, It allows for better and sharper shifting
Third, I cannot hear it at all over my exhaust
Fourth, It puts more power to the ground when I want it.
Fifth, Its easier on the axles
Sixth, everyone on here who complains of noise/vibration is old or just use to what it means to be in a performance car. I actually bought Lindsey Ultra mounts for my car instead of solid mounts going on peoples opinions. The mounts I got work great and are very nice but a week later I relised a race car I had worked on (when it came back in for a service) had solid mounts. Needless to say I didn't even know it had solid mounts untill I looked at them and was like damn there soild. So when people say "Bad Vibration" I honestly have to disagree with everything they say. Had I known the mounts on the racecar where solid and only had that slight amount of vibration I would have been saving myself $150.

I wouldn't say the solid mount causes a bad vibration, it just transmits a lot of noise. I personally like it (my car has no back seat so there is even more trans noise transmitted), but knowing how a lot of people are about their street cars here, I made my comments above.

Regular store stuff. Seemed to work pretty well, but takes a long time to dry solid when its in a thick layer.
Altho im definatly going to keep an eye out for that blue mount, that thing looks sweet.
