Default Do I need zinc dicromate???

Hey.
Ok I love the way the yellow zinc looks, but Im getting new head nuts and washers... and it would cost $50 to get 10 zinc dichromate ones. But it would only cost $20 to order 50 regular zinc nuts and washers.

So I can't decide.... There must be a reason porsche chose yellow I just dont know if it's worth it. Will the dichromate hold up better than the standard zinc? If it will I think I'll have to go with the dichromate because I just damn love the way it looks.

Advice?
Thanks!

You could do as many parts as you want with a yellow zinc kit like this:

Theres a company in florida that sells all yellow zinc fasteners, in a kit for the entire engine (all the fasteners/washers you need).

I have the eagleday kit already. It doesnt include EVERYTHING.... trust me.... it hasn't been terribly helpful to be honest.
And it did not come with M12 nuts or washers.... which are what is required for the head.

Interesting.... first time I've heard something negative about the kit. Makes you wonder why they wouldn't include it.

I think they told someone (was it me?) several years back that they could run off a custom batch of just about anything you wanted if you told them to.
