clutch sticks to floor *searched*
i go to my car this morning and the clutch will snap quickly to the floor but will not come back up. i can pulll it back but it doesnt return to normal. i checked my brake fluid and it was low but there are no signs of any leaks. i topped off the brake fluid and it still doing it. also with the clutch to the floor its still not disengaged.
i was just driving the car less than 12 hours ago and it was fine, this has never happened before, why now? how can i fix it?

Clutch slave cylinder is dying. You will need to replace it and the master cylinder at the same time. If you have a friend with a power bleeder it is about a 1.5 hour job total.

Remove the rubber plug on the bellhousing in front of the slave cylinder, it's probably holding in a bunch of brake fluid if the slave cylinder failed.
On my car, I have changed 3 slave cylinders without replacing the clutch master cylinder.

I had this problem on my 84 race car. Replace both cylinders as either slave or master could have failed. My turbo had bit of this probelm, but (seriously) I just drove the car alot more and the problem seems gone. I think this issue was due to sitting more than anything else. Of course it could come back and bite me.

it seems for most people this problem just went away after a little driving around. so if its just some little glitch how can i fix it? i cant drive it anywhere!!!!
update: i looked underneath and the inspection hole is wet, its not filled with fluid or dripping just wet. but i guess its not supposed to be wet at all.

I pulled my pedal back with my hand and it worked. Action was very stick and got better over time. If however it does not come back or work at all you willl need to replace it. Sorry.
