I like the four way electic adjusters on the drivers seat in my 86, but the few times I've sat in the passenger seat I've noticed that because of my height I have no thigh support. I'm wondering if anyone had converted the power adjustment from the drivers seats to the passenger side, or if there were passenger seats made with the four way electric adjustment controls?

This is what sparked my interest in the idea.

That would be a PIA. You can buy a passenger seat with 4-way (or more) controls. If your car is '85.5 and newer, there is already a wiring harness under your passenger side front carpet for a power seat to plug into.

Oh, ok. Thanks for the info. I just haven't seen any passenger 4way power seats yet, so I wasn't sure if they made any.

Yes it was an option.

Ive got 4 way power drivers and passenger Sport seats. Id rather have totally manual, or a 12 way heated drivers. Or even just heated would be nice too

Wait, you have a passenger sport seat but not a driver? Or did I just misread that?

If you do, why don't you just switch out the backs for the larger bolsters on the driver?

the second pic is of the other switch, i dont know wtf happened there.

dont know how much this thing is worth, im having a hard time believing that the one on ebay is worth 80$

Are the manual seats as adjustable as the 4way seats? Or do they only go forwards/back?

The manual seats I had in my '83 just slid forward and back, plus seatback recline, so no, not as adjustable as the power seats.

Anyone want to tell me what the heck the 8-way and 12-way seats do?
