Where did you get the liner you were using for the interior/flooring, I remember you mentioned, something about it being out of a viper or some sort?
Thanks

The idea came from the Dodge Viper GTS/ACR CART pace car that I got to drive a couple times. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I got the material from a local auto upholstery guy that has now moved and started his own business elsewhere. It's basically a felt-like, stretchable, material refered to as "trunk liner"

I'm not sure if that's the same stuff.. .you really need to see it and feel it to make sure. I'm not 100% happy with my felt liner because it is too easy to damage if you get **** on it... but that's okay..
Take a used bedsheet, and make templates out of them - so that you don't screw up with the real stuff. Once you've traced your templates unto the carpet liner, you're ready to glue.
I used 3M adhesive in a spray can. Spray on a little bit to the edge of the carpet, let it dry. Once it's dried, you can use it as leverage to strech the next bit of carpet to fit over whatever curve or valley you need to. repeat until done.

hmmm, you say carpet liner?
I just wanted to shave some weight but not have the metal exposed. I know the rear floor is not totally flat so I might just use some velco in that spot.

Hey Rich, I think i found some simillar stuff called flex form...
havent ordered it yet (they sent me some samples)
But I just took out my rear carpet/seat and its ALOT noisier! I though a door or something was open. does the trunkliner do anything to deaden the sound?
