Some weird car manufacturers.. and a fun tv car show ;)
Happened to be flipping through the channels over here, and saw this woman wearing nothing but a bra and panties jabbering on in german pointing at this board which had a bunch of car manufacturers on it and others that were covered up.. down in the bottom right hand corner is the current prize money. Apparently, people call in and try to guess one of the car manufacturers up there. When you get one of them right, you win the current prize money, and she takes off an article of clothing, all the way down to nude. When someone calls and gets it wrong, the prize money goes up a hundred euros. You'd think it would be pretty easy.. they had ferrari up there, maserati, lotus, mercedes, porsche, and other popular exotics.. then at the end after the time was up, she flipped the rest of them and they were a bunch of extinct car manufacturers I had 'never' heard of before. It would be nice to win 7000 euro just for guessing the right one.. and to get her to take the rest off I really had no idea there were so many car manufacturers though.. had never heard of most of these, like Lada and Tata.. seriously. Anyone know some weird car manufacturers out there, in the past or present anywhere in the world?

Lada is a Russian car. Basically they are such peices of ****, 100km after you buy one you take it into the shop and every nut and bolt gets torqued back to spec, since they are all loose from the factory.
And pics of this tv show host?

Lada was Russia's state car manufacturer and the butt of loads of jokes, or it was when I was growing up during the eighties in England. Tata are I believe another low rent Eastern block pile of badly nailed together junk. Not sure if either make still exist.

No, Tatra is a Czech comapny that now makes mostly trucks. They were making air-cooled cars long before Porsche. In fact I think the engine design of the Beetle (and hence the 911) was basically a copy of a Tatra engine. They were really cool cars until the Soviets took control of that part of the world. I remember reading that people said that an air cooled car could never work, so Tatra drove one across the Sahara to proove it was reliable.

"TATA" is an Indian manufacturer. Part of India's largest conglomerate. began with primarily commercial vehicles, in partnership with mercedes benz. but now makes low budget cars and suv's. Some models are available in European markets, but most sales are in south asia where Its a fast growing nameplate...

I sent my application in to The Real World, and I'm pretty much putting all of my eggs in to that basket, the MTV basket. If my MTV career doesn't work out, I was thinking I'd buy a gun and start selling crack. I would be like a laid back crack dealer, though. Not mean or anything. I'd just be like 'Hey boys, how's it going? Want some crack?'

Oh the shame! I have confused the respectable Indian manufacturer of sub standard road vehicles (Tata) with the Chezk Republic's finest builder of heavy goods vehicles (Tatra). Please would somebody kindly run me over with a Moskovitch or a Yugo!
