Okay - that explains it.
This is a very well tuned car. 400 plus real HP with a VERY wide powerband. This car will CRUSH a new 997S on PUMP gas.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. The car is an awesome car. Unfortunately I am selling it. The only reason I dyno'd it was to tune it a little better and see how much power it put down. I have a few people who made offers on it. Whoever gets it is getting one helluva car!!

I can't read the dyno sheet, how much torque did you have?

93 (r+m/2) octane is apprx. the same as I'm running (99RON). Have you had any issues running so much boost on pump gas? Vitesse specifically says to never run this much boost on pump gas.

I have run 100 octane in the car before, but 93 works just fine. 18psi is at the blow off valve, but the guage read 16.5, so if you are going off your boost guage, then you are most likely running 1.5-2 psi more than what it reads.

My boostgauge (like the stock gauge) gets it's reading directly from the manifold.
Can't think of anywhere else that would give a more accurate reading ??

Anyways, those are some impressive numbers relative to the mods you have.

yes. I actually wondered why the guy used 4th gear. Is there something special with using that gear? I assume 5th gear would be harder ro redline?

4th is the closest to a 1:1 ratio.

Nice car, nice dyno chart. Boost must be checked at the intake manifold for best accuracy.
There is more left on the table. I assumed you dynoed it with pump gas maps? Race gas maps will yield more power.
Would you email me the dyno chart?

Default Hi guys

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm the lucky new owner of this 951. I'm sure I'll have some questions soon.
