Default No more holes!

Need to fix eight 1/4" holes on my bumper and on each side of my license plate. What should I steer away from (filler vs TIG weld) when I take it someplace? Looking for a reputable place near Jacksonville, FL too.

i used a mig welder and filled the holes in on each side of the plate. Then grinded everything smooth. You may have to loose your options sticker though. If you fiberglass/bondo etc it up, it will eventually shrink up and you will at the very least have a ring where the hole used to be. The rear bumper will have to be tig welded up- aluminum- i think im just going to find another bumper and paint it though.

I thought I had heard somewhere that those bumpers are some crazy soft or dirty alloy that is nearly impossible to weld (it just blows away), so another bumper might just be the ticket anyway.......

ive had two of these bumpers welded- my old neighbor was a welder- and it worked out great. Thing is to use some etch primer on the welds though before you smooth it out the rest of the way, they have a tendancy to oxidize under the paint etc if you leave them bare.

although ive yet to weld in my bumper holes, it is possible to mig weld aluminum. I have done it many times, its just a bit harder.
