33rd Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races (Pics)
Went to the Monterey Historic Races today at Laguna Seca. What a great day.....beautiful cars everywhere in the paddocks and then you get to watch them race around the track. Toyota graced us with the presence of one of its F1 cars which promptly shattered the track record by 1 second. Many many P-Cars and some other great marquees.
Of course we will start this off with the P-Cars containing Andial engines ( by far the best P-cars at the track).

Love those pics. Last time I was there 2 years ago it was a special Historic Ferrari celebtation. Did you run into Bluecamaro (Dan) while you were down there? He was there all 3 days.

The Rolex vintage racing series is coming to Lime Rock on Labor Day weekend, and I move into school on Monday. Maybe I'll take the 2-hour drive as a last hurrah for summer.

Unfortunatly, I wasn't able to get to the track on Saturday, we didn't pre order tickets and weren't too keen on blowing $85 each. and have to deal with the crowds, then on top of thatthere was a big fiasco at the hotel in the morning, which I'll describe in another thread, once I get pics up online.
We did go to concourso italliano on friday and look at the Auction previews down town. I took a bunch of pics and will try to get them uploaded sometime soon.
