Default 1987 944S Shifter Replacement

I wanted to get some suggestions on replacing my worn shift ****/boot/lever.
9X has suggested their Kokein shifter, Momo ****, Momo **** adapter and custom leather boot. Has anyone gone this route or have any other suggestions other than just a factory replacement shifter which is kind of plain?

I went with a Momo **** (black leather). I needed an adapter kit and some cutting/filing on the shift lever. I also cut about 1 inch off the length. I like it much better than stock.

No sorry. I was too lazy to get the camera while doing it. It's not hard to do but you will need a means by which to cut and/or grind off material on the shift shaft to fit the Momo adapter. A hacksaw will easily cut off the end to make it shorter. It will be a little more difficult to use it to narrow the upper portion (it will be a longer cut). I used a bench grinder to get narrow the width. Don't worry too much about it being pretty...
