Question Suede Shift **** Boot, does anyone make one?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any places that make a shift boot for the 944 in suede? I have a spare shift **** in the closet that could use a new cover on it, but I would like to do it in suede if there was a place that made one.

Dr.Porsche & 87944turbo- Let me know if you guys get yours and what they are like. Thats exactly what I want, just like stock except in suede. I saw those on ebay but wasn't sure if he actually meant they were suede or just leather.

Just got this yesterday, so I thought I would update you. 16 days to get here (IN from FL) seems a little excessive to me. I am not all that impressed with the quality. Does look like it it real suede though. Some things bother me, like the stiching is not straight. Also, it smells like an ashtray and it is lending its aroma to the rest of my car! Still beats what was in there, or what was left of it. But if I had seen this in a store, I never would have paid more than $10 for it. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the update. What seller did you get it from?

Seller was good-volks. Guy was real responsive regarding the late shipping. I would buy from them again, I just wouldn't plan on getting it right away.

nice, but the neck has a loose pocket like a chicken neck, makes it EZ to install but NOT OEM leather tight fit on the neck, but the top of **** and the base is perfect.

It lasted her a couple of years before it started aging fast, but they cost 50% of leather.

Some UK seller had a beige perforated one for $70 which she should have bought which matched the beige seats swapped into black on black car, the contrast is nice with the black piping on black carpet. Also installed a set of 2002 18" C2 replicas for $944 with some Jap rubber and Ebay silver center crests.

she needs to rebuilt or core exchange her steering pump leaking all over & get off the stop leak BS magick fix & rebuild her turbo & install wide fire HG

I bought one a while back and was happy with fit and was real suede but wasn't happy with after a short period as it got really nasty fairly quickly. Suede isn't the best idea for a shifter due to wear making it look bad quickly. I saw an alcantara boot on ebay and although it cost a fortune I am very happy with it as it is about a year old and still looks great and it feels really good in the hand. The suede felt hard and scratchy by comparison. Anyway I have never seen one before or since (it came from germany), but it was worth it for me. I am pretty sure the seller had got it from a car and wasnt making them and so was a one off
