I seem to be getting a lot of wind noise on the highway. Seems like the stock mirrors are the cause. Can anyone comment on the 968 mirrors whether they a significant reduction on wind noise?

 

I've heard this from a few people.. but to be honest, I've NEVER noticed it myself. I've had stock flags before and upgraded to 968 mirrors... but I've never noticed the noise in the first place so I can't say theres any difference.

Maybe you are missing the little gasket that goes in between the mirror and it's base. (supposedly it reduces wind noise..)

Try driving on the highway with your flag mirrors folded in and see if it makes any difference.

 

Yes, the 968 mirrors are allot quieter. I am comparing this to my 924 which has the same mirrors as the early 944. In fact that was the first thing I noticed when I got the 968.
