Well hell how about a cheap beater 944. I have a turbo thats very nice but have been looking at this beat 86 944 for 1.5k. Starts and runs really good actually, but interior had edward scissors hands molest it, and most electrics dont work( most are prolly fuses).

You guys think its an alright idea to get one like that. All id do is just keep it running, i dont care about its upkeep or electrics, shouldnt be expensive as long as basic engine matinece is kept up..... or will it.
