I suspect many of us received the Promax soliciation about the Veloce (speedline look-alikes) wheels. Anybody seen them in person and/or know anything about them?

Yes, I got spammed too. This is the 2nd or 3rd time from them. I think they must of sent it to everyone who's posted to the 944 email list. The is right though.

We have just 3 sets of Veloce 3.6 wheels left (£850 without tires and £1150 with tyres GBP). NOTE: Center caps are not included. USD prices are $1495 (no tires) $1995 (with tires) + delivery to USA (wheels with tyres weigh 53lbs each).

Wheels are same design as Speedline 3.6 Turbo and are a monbloc wheel. They also weigh the same as the Speedline (fitted to 911 Turbo 3.6 and 968 Turbo RS).

Wheel specifications are:
Front - 8 x 18 ET52
Rear - 9.5 x 18 ET47

Will fit all ABS model Porsches including the 944, 968, 964, 993, Boxster, 996 and 928. For 993 Turbo and 996 Turbo - a 7mm spacer is required on the rear. More details at: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/93920.htm
