Sorry -- I was responding to mavfan's post. Now if we would all stop posting at the same time and give each other time to type.....

For the jumpers -- goto radio shack (or any hardware store) and buy 4 female spade connectors and a short length of wire to connect them together. I used the 'red' sizes for the connectors/wires -- but doesn't really matter.

And yes -- there's plywood. There's some more behind the rear seats.

Its 11:25PM and there is no radio shack open or anyway for me to get to one. Is there any jerry rigging I could do just to get it home?

You mean with like paper clips and duct tape? I'm sure it can be done -- but I wouldn't recommend it.

BTW, are we sure it's the alarm?

The red alarm light is blinking, its never been on before. I am also unable to even crank the engine, but the all of the lights come on. What else could it be?

There's a trick you can do with the DME relay itself. We shouldn't be posting this stuff in a public forum so do a search and see what you come up with. I'll PM you what I remember.

If you read my origonal post I said the search feature was not functioning and I had to somehow get home before it became too late. Thanks for the pm though
