Wife says its too much what do you think?
So I purchased this S2 as dedicated DE/Autocross car. Was all black which the wife hated. So I purchased a red/black and a black/red Reccaro Speed seats, Red and black steering wheel and red roll bar. Painted the centers of the D90's red. I have a set of cup 1's for street driving which is more to and from events.
All was moving along fine. I decided to add a red stripe down the center with a white border. My numbers for Autocross are the same.
I dropped the car off this morning and had my friend Jose from IDSigns here in Jersey install the film to make the stripes. Out of his kindness he added the word Porsche on the Windshield.
My wife looks at it and said with the center caps crest and everything else it says PORSCHE 10 times. She wants me to remove at a minimum the lettering on the doors or the windshield.
So my question is can your car say Porsche too many times and is this too much bling even for a fun DE/Autocoss car. BTW we share the car for the events so she has a say in it.

Colors look pretty cool.
It might be too much to have Porsche on the windshield AND the doors. I'd perfer one place or the other, but not both.
The other thing I would do is make center cap red too. I'd also ditch the rear center light thing. This a track car so save the 2 lbs and ditch it.

Remove the script on the doors and the rear reflector panel, pain the wheels something other than red - everything else is fine, especially for a track *****.

I agree but the PO botched the install will need to look into what it takes to remove it. My wife seems to agree either doors or windshield not both. I think the doors may go although I don't want to offend my friend since he worked so hard on it.
time for a new wife.

4 center caps
2 door panels
1 windshield
1 hood badge
1 rear spoiler
1 rear reflector
1 rear decal above bumper
She got it wrong -- therefore, she loses and you win.

Paint the wheel centers black, but keep the silver lip. Either that black centers and a red lip.
I agree with everyone else.. defenetley take the rear reflector off. I also would probably opt to remove the windshield banner, but with a different colored wheel center i think the door decals will look alright.
I look foward to seeing the car at the next NNJ event in late August.. hopefully ill have my harnesses by then. Thanks again for those bolts!

Rims and center cap gray. ditch the windshield. then ditch the rear reflector just because it is ugly. then all will be well.
just this morning i was thinking of putting on a burgandy swoosh from the left front fender across the hood and down the passenger door with a parallel one starting at the bottom of the drivers door over the roof and down by the right rear quarter (over the schnashty chip in the paint). then i figured i could spend the $$ on a few days of DE or a newer miata or.....

OK center reflector is gone. The 4 holes are not so bad and I just taped over them for now to keep water out. Otherwise license plate is back to where it belongs.
I am leaving the rest for now and see how it goes. I have several sets of wheels the others are silver so I will switch them out and see how it looks.
Thanks for the opinions.
BTW I think the rear reflector and license plate light saved 3.5 pounds.
Back down to 10 so I guess I have to keep the wife.
