Sigh. I want something with a newer interior and more power. So why did I just drop $500 at Sunset on speed/ref sensors and fuel lines?
So I can drive cross-country and pick up an S2 cheaply!

John D. didn't give us enough space in the signature line to list enough cars (255 chars max). That's the reason why I have to reduce my fleet size. ![grr](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/cussing.gif)
I have no parts cars right now -- with real estate in the Bay Area these days, parts cars are PITA to look after and get rid of.
I recently jumped on a $3500 944 turbo -- I saw the ad one night and bought the car next morning. The only issue was a broken odometer and some cosmetics. The odo read 72k miles, but it's probably a ~130/140k car (but nothing shows in carfax). Probably due for belts, but the clutch measured pretty new through the inspection hole. An unscrupulous person could have fixed the odo, flipped it and easily doubled his money -- but I'm just passing the deal over to a deserving RLer. So technically, it belongs in my sig until the next owner completes the deal (but he's away on his honeymoon right now.....).
I'm also starting a 951 project -- she going to be a driver rather than a garage queen. My Silberossa will remain stock -- reversible mods at most -- because I have reasons to believe the car has a interesting history. But I wouldn't mind a Turbo money pit to play with.

Hmm..... a supercharged S2 project. I'd love to see that on that drag strip. Maybe I should do that too.....
I'd say reliability.
