Default 1988 944S Camshafts FS (Damaged)
I am selling both camshafts out of my 944S.. the gears are stripped.. but if anyone is interested in buying them to repair.. here are some pictures.

Can they be repaired? I have two sets of cams for my "S" and one set has a missing tooth on the intake I believe........be nice to get it fixed!

If someone was so inclined, I'm sure they could be weld built up and re-cut. The question is whether it is cost effective....

the exhaust cam would be attractive for someone wanting to do a twin cam gear conversion.

Hacker-Pschorr Mark Kibort is still racing with teeth missing from the cams on his S4 race car.
Hacker he changed them months ago, his nerve ran out!

they got stripped due to the cam tensioner failing- the chain had slack and the teeth stripped.

the exaust cam is SOLD

any interest in the intake ?
