Default Engine swap progress!...PICS!

almost there. It should be done tonight....(well, i left the computer sitting and never typed more..so now its done and running!) I have to take a shower and take the GF home then ill post pics...brb.

here they are. more pics coming...

What exactly are you swapping into what.

And get an Avatar and some sig lines like "No Condoms BEEYATCH"

I swapped the old red cars motor into the new car finnaly cause i blew the #3 headgasket doohickey in the taco bell drivethru. :grrr: the motor was only 5k miles away from 200k too. GAY!

OK nvm. somehow the engine swap pics are gone and pics of the underside of the car ect...whatever. you get the idea..new blingin engine HOORAY!

oh. upgraded clutch.

sachs stage 2... can you believe that in the 3 yrs ive been driving a 944 this is the FIRST time i will have a clutch that doesnt lurch from a busted rubber center. Im so EXCITED!! LOL!!

Thats prettyyy clean, but you should cut off that power steering bracket if you don't have power steering.

what did you do to clean the engine bay?

the bracket holds a seal on the engine...wait..doesnt it?

or do you mean just hack those two thingies off? I thought about it. my grinder might not be up to the task though.

What did you use to clean the bay? It looks spotless! The engine detailing looks great too - better than new!

i was just talking about the thing that holds the steering fluid reservoir, the part the hose clamp goes around.
