Looks nice. I love your polished parts. Did you put anything back in to replace the heat shielding on the exhaust side?

I also forgot to mention. after hooking the engine up and running it for a minute or two. thirty minutes later my alarm started going off. but like...half..it would go through half a beep...stop..then a fuill beep...then maybe 3..then 2 and a half...

well it eventually stopped.. then A FIVE FRIKIN OCLOCK this morning it starts doing it again....so i had to go unhook the battery. any suggestions?

lol. nope. thats the '83 euro 944 on the right. and dads S2 on the left.

all of ilikemy's 944s are red. and one doesnt run.

as for taking the engine out the top. not having power steering or ac really frees up some room. i thought it was easier then taking out the bottom but only cause Im missing those two things. so if you have no ac and no PS try it out. its pretty easy. jsut make sure you have a load leveler or youll never get it off the TT.

Good work - must have a short somewhere on the alarm. I would guess at the hood since that would have been the last sensor you could have changed around.

well, I opened up the alarm module and it was all rusty and stuff. so i did the bypass on it. good as new.

MAN!!! i forgot how frikin LOUD the whine is on this engine. damn thing sounds like its got dual superchargers! LOL
and the clutch. DROOOOL. I can actually let off the gas without finagling the clutch and gas pedal. and since ive been driving three years with a busted center, now that i dont have one...its like an automatic..or it will be when i get used to the new release point. WEEE!!!
