Default Photos of my 951RS, summer day 2006

I just finished repairing my AIR splitter, and since I have no red paint, I just spraybombed it with a mix of some glossy and flat black spray paint. Turned out pretty good IMHO, definately much less 'flashy' than the body matched splitter.

While my 968 is getting painted, I stole it's hatch and put it on my 951. I think it looks great! Too bad it has to go back on the 968 soon. The "turbo RS" script raises a lot of eyebrows too! A while back, my exhaust tip "slip-on" decided to "slip off!" and I could not find a replacement. You'd never guess that I just took a square sheet of tin, rolled it up and riveted it to the muffler!!! (I'm getting a custom exhaust soon, so I'm not wasting money on a temporary fix..) In case you're wondering, I do drive around with AO32R-H's year round, and yes, the fronts are fully chorded from the last AutoX! I'm getting new ones mounted tomorrow!

The interior is bone stock in the front, whereas I've gutted the rear and put down black trunk liner felt. I've got some black Recaro 968CS seats going in, and a 968CS wheel, and a Boxster shifter.

Also, I just finished this little mod. Nothing major, just something that you can appreciate if you've ever had to bleed your coolant a few times. (something I seem to have to do everytime I need to replace something... ugh..) Basically it's just a regular bolt going into the engine, but with a nipple threaded into it, and a copperpipe going to a bleed screw at the other end. (flat head screwdriver) Makes bleeding a million times easier and less messy.

I also took a plastic bristle brush on a grinder to the cam tower and intake, to give it a semi-polished look. You can also see my custom Injector Harness. (too cheap to buy Lindsey's kit... lol)

The car is looking great. I really love those C2's, i defenetley need to find a set.

Is your rear ride height at stock or lowered? It looks a little 'jacked' up. Maybe its just because the larger 17's.

Thanks Jon!

It looks "jacked up" because I've removed between 120 to 160lbs from the back, AND I've only got about 2 gallons of gas in the tank!!! LOL

Don't worry it looks normal with a full or even 1/2 tank of gas!

Car looks great. I loved the 968 wing on it, it brought out the splitter to me.

Belated congrats for topping 7k posts!
