Default 944/951 Demographics

Hi,

I just got mine 951 as a gift and loved spending time on all these forums and its has been a valuable assest to my troubleshooting and restoring of the car. I am just curious as to the demographics of other 944/951 owers. I find that many in this group are younger owners (speaking from age 44).

age group: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, etc.
how long have you had the car?
is it a daily driver, casual driver, track, etc.
how much money have you spent in restorations, upgrades?
what other kinds of car do you have?

if others would like to chime in, that would be great.

My answers:
1. 40-49
2. 1 month
3. toy car / weekend
4. < $1k
5. 02 BMW 530i, 95 Chevy astro

age group: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, etc.

30-39

how long have you had the car?

Couple of years now.

is it a daily driver, casual driver, track, etc.

Casual driver mostly. Once in a while I'll drive it to work. Depends on how I'm feeling that day.

how much money have you spent in restorations, upgrades?

Car cost about $8k, put about $2k fixing P.O. neglect/stupidity and about $1k in mods. I'm pretty happy with it now. Maybe a paint job in the future if I keep it - probably another $3k-$4k.

what other kinds of car do you have?
