When I met my wife she had a '94 (I think) MR2 turbo. No mods, but for a stock, warrantied car, it was a LOT of fun!

I think I like the "weight" of the 951, which feels overall more sturdy and substantive, but there's no denying the fun factor of the MR2. -I even considered picking one up to play with as a pure lightweight speed-addiction toy.

You know, you think the 944's get no repsect for being a sleeper, that MR2T from a decade ago is quite a surprising little animal!

The 1st one was traded for the 2nd one (plus some cash) because I was planning on moving to the Mainland and it would not pass any emissions test. The second one was sold for the WRX because I needed more room for the family. About a year ago my situation improved such that I could get a weekend fun car. I was in the process of looking for another MR-2 when I came across my 951. I'm still keeping an eye out for a '93+ in good condition .

My buddy had a really slick MR2, 300+ HP not sure if it was RWHP or not but damn fast! Not to mention the handling, wow!
