How many miles have you put on your 944?
I was chatting with my PO tonight, and he was asking about the 924S, and how many miles I had put on it... well, I put 70,000 miles on it in the last 5 years... he was shocked because in the prior 14 years, it had 102,000 on it...
so, how many miles have you put on it, and how long have you owned it?

19,800 in almost 25 months. 129,300 or so on the odo.
I think I (or a future owner) will drive this sucker into the ground. Being a concours car was never my individual car's forte, but it's pretty reliable. No horror stories to tell over here, besides those 2 bolts that hold the front of the head on. '83s rock.

16K on the 83 and about 7K on the 951 in 3 years. All the 951 miles are Fun Run miles and long trips with my wife along the Calif. Coast...I seldom commute or run errands with it.

I purchased my 944 new in March of 1983. It was a daily driver until 91 or so. She had been sitting since 95 and now just recently I have been spending money and time on it doing whatever she has needed. It has almost 300K miles without a rebuild. Women I can't seem to keep around, but cars are another story. Glad I kept this one!
