Default Brake Pad suggestion

I am getting ready to replace the rear brakes on my 88 924s. The car will be seeing some track time at the end of the year. I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions on a brake pad that is at least sort of streetable. I have been running ferodo DS2500 compound on my GTI and have been pretty happy with them I just dont know if they are available for the new car. Thanks in advance.

what pads do you have in front? I would suggest the same.

Here is my simple take on pads

MetalMasters = Street / Autocross / Light track use
KFP Gold = Lots of track use with street use
Hawk Blue = Hard track / Racing/ Minimal to zero street or autocross use

I have been guided to use MetalMasters. That is what I will be purchasing shortly.

Well my supplier just informed me that ferodo no longer makes pads for the 924/944. I just bought the car so Im not sure what pads are up front, but I do plan on changing them out to match the rears. This is actually a bit strange to me coming from a FWD car that doesnt use the back brakes at all. Mosgt of my friends that race VWs use OEM rear pads with hawk blues up front. The KFP pads sound like what Im looking for. Once I get used to the car Ill be upgrading to hawk blues or something similar. Thanks!!!

Anyone ever use those Ultimate pads made by the same manufacturer as the Metal Masters? They are supposed to be more aggressive street/auto x pads.
