Default cracked fuel rail? leaky leaky

not sure if my rail is cracked or if i have a bad o-ring but it looks like the rail. After my last run at the autox sunday i popped the hood to cool things off and saw a tiny amt of fuel had run down the braket that holds the fuel rail to the head. Tonite i pulled it off and it looks like the fuel is coming from above the injector, like from the boss that the upper o-ring slips into. Cant exactly tell though. Anyone had this happen and where can i get a rail. Im going to search tonite for a new one i guess and some orings rennbay style.

ummm don't you already have a thread about this? yes , it just happened to me friday. its probably the seam where that bracket attaches to teh rail.

Never understood the shape or material they made these fuel rails. they seem to rust from the inside and often crack.

Same thing happened to me a few years back. I couldn't find the leak visually but my mechanic was able to narrow it down to the rail. I'd give Partsheaven a call for a used one - new ones are ridiculously expensive...$400 the last time I checked (maybe even $600).

How do you like the Lindsey unit, Michelle? Was it worth the cost? I'm considering upgrading since my rail is a bit rusty in places. I'll probably go with the Lindsey piece on the 951 but keep the stock rail on the NA.
