Default Rear hatch trim removal tool?

The rear hatch side trim pieces are held in place by round nuts with a notch. While I'm sure I could figure out something to use, what is the correct part number for this nuts?

Ditto.

This was the only time my cordless Dremel tool actually lasted long enough to complete a project...

Thanks for the picture as that is exactly what I was considering doing. I finished up fabricating the small tabs for a 968 rear spoiler conversion and just need to do the final fitting. I'd prefer to get the actual tool but will make my own if needed.

So what caused it to shatter at the very end? Looks like you were almost all the way released from the sealant. That doesn't look like fun at all.

Yeah, I would like to know what caused the shatter. I've been thinking of fixing mine this year as I have a used one I can put on the car until I finish the job.

Do you think that leaving the hatch on the car had anything to do with it breaking?

those are great pictures until I saw the glass shattered

I'll be adding metal tabs like this picture to my 951 hatch shortly and will post the pictures.
