Yes, everyone needs to be cool and keep a good following distance. The last thing we need is another pizza run.

I'll let you borrow my '93 Saturn SW2 wagon for that purpose -- its like a minivan but worse since the suspension is totally shot. But on the upside, it does have new tires and has only been driven less than 50 miles in the last year.

I'll second the tailgating thing. We've never had an incident yet and don't need one. If you feel the guy in front of you isn't fast enough for you then flash your lights and wait for a safe place to pass, don't ride them like a tow vehicle...very bad Ju-Ju. Save it for the track where both drivers know the next turn. If someone wants to be in front say so at the start of each leg but you better know where your going first. There's smart fast driving and stupid fast driving, they don't go well together.

As much as I'd love to go, my schedule calls for dismantling the lights & shelves in my garage-mahal that day. Yes, I'm moving this month.

I managed to weasel my way into not cancelling Tahoe(SATL) this weekend despite the move, I'm not going to push my luck.

It's a 2000...I have an 87 924S as well....love to have it smog ready by then, but very unlikely...love to do a cruise either way.

Juan,

Has your friend done anything with his a4? Is this the same blue one that goes on the 969 runs?

yeah, he's got APR chips in it (200 awhp i think).

it's a pretty decent car for most of the roads out there.

it's not a dedicated sports car, but if i was ever in a situation where i'd have to go sans-951, i'd get an audi with quattro as my family sports sedan.

edit- yeah, it's the blue one that you've seen before.
