Wideband installation question (LC-1)

Wideband installation question (LC-1)
I have an Innovate LC-1 wideband that I'm getting ready to install, is it possible to use the stock narrow band sensor's bung, or are the threads different? Where did the LC-1 users here mount your controllers? I'd like to put mine under the dash next to the DME and piggyback, but am unsure if the cable is long enough.
Background info in case it matters: This is a 1989 944S2 that is currently running in N/A form with an SMT-7 piggyback. I'm installing a supercharger (Eaton M90) in 3 steps for easier diagnosis, tuning, and trouble-shooting. 1st step was the piggyback, second is the wideband, and third will be the blower.

The sensors have the same threads.
The cable is decently long. I think it's about 3-4' from the sensor to the controller. The connector on the controller is kindof weird. You have to sortof pry/pull on the tab, not push it like you would expect. And it separates differently than I'd expect as well.
Enjoy the system, I'm very happy with mine.
