Is that the set of GT2/GT3 brakes Ollie has been flashing on occassion
Yes they are Pete's brakes. I have a similar setup going under my own car (will get rest of the CNC:ed parts this week) , with some other parts like new engine, LSD transmission, new suspension etc. I have also the similar seats coming to my car like also does friend of ours Tommy (Sybelix).
Most likely i am going to build a similar interior like Pete have, but that will be next winters project.

Those pictures of Pete's car does not tell the whole story. It's much better alive! His car must be one of the finest 951's, the quality is just superb

OT: Sorry Canada; about ice hockey (5 - 0)

Did you change the color of the car or is that the original?

Colour is original LY 4Z Flamingo metallic. It's MY '87 specific, quite rare, haven't seen many of those around.951S silberrosa is quite close, just a hint more gray and red.

Brake building thread is somewhere in 944 turbo -section and there's not much to tell about the brakes yet,I haven't been driving much around. I will get wheels aligned tomorrow,so testing starts after that.Pads are loud ( Ferodo racing ones ) and I have to bleed brakes once again. The pedal feel is still slightly mushy, noticed that when I was bedding in the pads...after few quick pedal pushings it's rock solid again.
I will be tracking my car later in the summer,I'm sad that I couldn't get a week off from work and join Porsche Club Finland's trip to Nürburgring...they leave on Wednesday, four days at track.Plus several hundred kilometers Autobahn both ways...damn.

I just have to bump this old thread after seeing Pete's car live in Finland a couple of days ago. It has to be one of the finest 951's I've ever seen!
Now it's time to give the car an engine it deserves

Thanks for the meet guys!

Sorry to bring back an old thread but his interior is one of the cleanest I've seen. Just wanted to give credit to that!

Thanks folks! BTW, buckets are D-I-Y "Pole Positions" with leather and script cloth, as originals were.
