Default Valve Spring Specs and Aftermarket Spring ?

Anyone have the open and seat pressure specs for 944S2/968 valve springs?

I'm looking to regrind my 928S4 cams to have the base circles reduced 2mm. That would give my intake cam 10mm of lift.

The S2/968 spring is being run by a lot of 928 owners that have gone to higher lift cams, but they are pretty spendy, ($725 just for the springs) and seem to be on the verge of coil bind at max lift.

I'm curious as to what the specs are for the OEM spring to see if I can find a domestic replacement with not as many coil windings, and am also curious if any of you are running a similar lift cam and running something other than an OEM spring.

Thanks for any input.
