Default strut brace in an s2 cabriolet?

Hello, i have heard stories about putting a strut brace in a babriolet not being the best of ideas because of the rigidity and how it could lead to bending in other places in the car that wouldnt be good. I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so how did it effect your car? Thanks in advanced for any information!!

i bought mine for 6500, i should try to get some pics of it up soon. I have a prom picture with it in the background ill see if i can post that maybe. We didnt end up going to prom "in" the porsche though, we took a school bus instead. While everyone else took limos, we had the school bus. It seemed funny and we sure did make an entrance

I have one on mine and have noticed improvements. It was a very rigid car for a convertable to begin with.

I've got the top of the line Dynatech (sadly nla) and the BK underbrace, and the car feels better.

Wow, except for the color difference, the S2 and 968 cabs look incredibly simiar considering the 4 year gap)... Yep, i like mine better...

I have a black S2 cab and it has a brace. It makes the car stiffer and does not cause problems anywhere else. Not a problem.
