Super sensitive high beam stalk
i havent had a chance to rip it apart yet, and i will probably do it tomorrow since its raining all day today. but wondering if anyone has ran into this sort of thing
my high beam stalk on the left side is going nuts, there is one sweet spot where it will stay on low beams, but if i use my blinker, or hit some bumps, i start flashing everyone, and they get pissed, then when i try to get it back in the sweet spot it will flicker also, again pissing people off.
is it just a matter of cleaning it? the stalk assembly very complicated? i dont have cruise control, so its just wipers and blinker arms. getting annoying though

That happened to my first black N/a when my stepdad had it. The colum switch was going out, and later it started a little fire (well not fire, but it melted the old colum switch!). It melted the plastic gauge "glass" to the dash.

another question, anyone know how to track down which wiring diagram it is and tell me which wire the switch is activating so i can pull it until i find a new switch?
