Still, it taint that bad though. Just time consuming. I think I'll still remove the engine, to do it however. Easier for me, I tink.

This is the second time Excellence did a 944 clutch replacement article.
The first one was by Jim Pasha (#88, October 1999, page 143)
Both are good...
Karl.
PS - You can find a list of 924/944/968 articles in Excellence here: http://www.weissach.net/Excellence-924-944-968.html

Since I'm in the middle of a clutch job myself... stopping on the way home from work to pick up that mag.
For a first time, I can attest so far that you need to plan more than a weekend.

I picked up an Excellence subscription on Amazon for pretty cheap, that's my little PSA.
Edit: Looks like $23/yr. Here's a direct link
For notes, the cover of this month's issue is a white 997 GT3. And I always could find it at my local B&N before I was a subscriber.

I couldn't justify a subscription to Ex911ence.
Too little non-911 content. I will pick up the occasional issue depending on content. I prefer 911 and Porsche World for a brader base of articles.

Besides, when removing things like CV joints and whatnot, you get a good look at other stuff that may need attention.
I bought a trans jack from harbor freight that paid for itself on the first use. Been used a couple times since. It makes dropping the trans a piece of cake.
