Default List of Major Porsche Parts Vendors???

I'm reading through sites like Paragon Producs, Pelican Parts, and another one I forgot the name of, and I wish to heck I knew about them several months ago, the shop I take my car to orders all their parts from god-knows-where and these sites have pretty fair prices and look like they might actually ship the parts... i waited 3 months for some no-name parts guy to get a belt cog to my mechanic's doorstep...Which I see an nice list of various ones on Paragon.

I think it may be helpful if there was a list somewhere of these places that offer parts and services for porsche that are not spam/junk...

It may also be great if there were a list of members with 944 etc junkyards as well.

Just a thought... I know my wallet, my car and my pre-Rennlist self may have been very thnakful for something like it.

You should check out www.autopartsworld.com. I've ordered a ton of parts from them and have been very happy with the service. They usually have lower prices than most of the site sponsors, plus three to five day shipping is free on orders over $75.

Upper right hand side of the page has a link to the sponsors. They all come highly recommended and some offer discounts for members. Besides, they keep part of this place running!

As for members with junkyards (2+ 944 to be parted), I suspect there are quite a few of them. If you are looking for parts, post a request and someone is bound to have what you need...it's a community!

Edit: man...forgot to renew my membership!

Man... Some great parts on there. If you do some shopping around.

I'm never going to get parts from Napa or Advance Auto or anything EVER again... I paid 37 bux for a fuel filter and they are 16 on Apex Performance parts.

Occasionally I up-load my browser links to the web:

The places I use the most are right under "Porsche Parts."

Enjoy!
