Finally got my momo horn working!
After being totally pissed off at this thing for months now, I finally decided to tackle it again this evening. Took off the plastic surround and wheel, then put the wheel on to see how the 928 contact switch sat. Moved the multi function switch all the way back towards the nose of the car. Played with it a little, got it into place, hooked up the horn and it worked! Much to my surprise I must say.
Marked the location of the switch, pulled the wheel and epoxied that MF'ing 928 switch into place. Put the black plastic surround back on, put the wheel on, tried the horn, no beep. ?????, lots of curse words, esp since I epoxied that MFing 928 horn switch. Sighed, took the wheel off, put it back on, tried the horn and it worked. Ok, now I'm confused but happy.
Bolted the wheel into place, put the horn button on, tried it again, still worked, called it a night. Hopefully it works tomorrow morning...

What exactly on the 928 part did you glue? It should have simply snapped into place in to the Multifunction switch face.
The cooper tap on the 928 part needs to be bent up so that it makes contact with the back of the momo adapter. Also I ran the 12 V line for the horn directly to the 928 piece so that when the horn putton is pressed it makes contact electricly through the 928 piece, up to the horn button, through the horn button (when pressed) then to the hub adapter which acts as the ground completeing the circuit.
I will dig out some pics when I get home this evening.

The 928 peice only snaps into place on the late '88+ multi function switches. Otherwise you get to drill a hole in it, like I did. Which then allowed the 928 peice to rotate some. So I epoxied it into place.
