Interior questions
There are two large plugs just above the rear seats below the roof. I'm missing one of them. Does anyone know where I can get one?
I'm thinking of putting in one of those lighted instrument gauges. Does anyone have any experience with these? Which one did you install? How did you do it? I need to put in a new odometer gear. I figure as long as I have the thing out I might as well do both.
Thanks for any help

You could probably order one from Porsche for $8.30 or something. I would go to a junkyard that has porsches or a porsche dismantler, and they'd probably sell it to you for a buck. Alternatively, if you can find a generic plug from an auto parts store or something that fits in that hole, just get two of them and use those.
As for the gauges, I don't know, but many people have done that before. Do a search for backlit gauges or something to that effect.

I put glow gauges in my 944. And I changed my Odo gear at the same time as well.
The gear was really easy... just took a little while. IMO order a new gear from rennbay, they make it out of better plastic than the OEM gelatin these old gears were made of.
I bought the gauge faces from someone here on rennlist. I just put them over the old ones. But I had to notch out the reflector housing with a grinder in order to get the wires to run properly.
But I just did this 2 weeks ago and as of right now my gauges dont glow because the red wire i spliced into was obviously not a 12v line.... go figure....
Oh yeah... and my plug thinger are cracked to crap. Let me know where you get your "new" one if you dont mind.

This is my 90 S2 Cabrio with backlit gauges. It takes bit to get them in but totally worth it. Looks like a new cars instrument cluster and way better than the front lit LED solution
I have Speedhut backlit black gauges and it looks factory. Make sure to spend the extra $10 and have the stupid Speedhut logo deleted or Speedhut will glow with your gauges. :|

Well I can't seem to figure out how to attach a photo. I took a couple but can't attach them. I tried a private message but can't figure that out either.
