Default looking for WA state 944 parters - exhaust??

I just got my 3rd 944 (yaaaa) but need a few things done to make it right. Does anyone have a 944 (NA) they're parting out in Washington (or Vancouver, Canada ideally) that has the muffler assembly from the catalyst back? Mines been bumped a bit too often and I found out it needs to be replaced but due to ridiculous parts costs new, I figured a good used unit will do the job (I've heard 944 exhausts are virtually lifetime units!?)

Any help would be great and you'll be rewarded with cash and scraped knuckles

Cheers, Todd

Todd,

Check with Russell ("WaA420" on Pelican). He may be able to help.

I've got a couple of complete exhaust systems from parts cars. Not all that sure of their condition however. They are in an outside shed of mine right now, butt, can't promise that the mice haven't taken up a home in them either.

Thanx guys - ACG - I'll contact Russell regarding this. Granite - please let me know asap if you have a decent cat-back set-up...preferably without mice!

I took an exhaust (GREAT SHAPE) off a 968 last week but I don't think it'll fit the 944.

Hehe, the best I think I can do there is just shoot a little air down the pipe, and see if any of those little devils start, making tracks out the other end? I've had the devils tuck up into the cooling fins of my lawn tractor, and sometimes they just won't move out of there, and sit and toast to death. I know their there, buy the smell of burning hair after doing my lawn. Terrible thing, butt, what can I do. Their just out making a living like you and me, butt, picked the wrong spot to hold up in, and just won't give it up. I've got the complete exhaust systems from headers back. Are ya really that interested in coming down for it? Send me a PM, make me an offer, and I'll pull 'em out, take a peeky, and get back to ya.
