That happened to a 528 on the BMW forum last night too. Same situation, I think we need harder penalties for DUI.

Yikes. Sorry to hear about this my fellow Cincinnatian. What sort of 951 are you after? I hesitate to say, but I've been having thoughts of moving on to something different. I've had an ultra short attention span lately, must be a mid-life thing. Mine, if it becomes for sale, (yet to be determined for certain), is likely one of the finest examples in existence. 11,000 original miles with 20K in upgrades.

Roger... I have a picture of your car in my 951 photos folder... I don't know how you're possibly considering selling it!!

Yeah I know, me either really. I wonder sometimes though if it really deserves to belong to a collector or concours type of guy. The muscles in my neck and head tighten every time I take the thing out for a drive, and God forbid if I have to park it anywhere briefly. It really is way more than I wanted to be honest. I bought it unseen thinking it sounded really nicely prepped for some occasional track use. Once it arrived and I got a look at the finish, I realized what I had done. Thanks for the kind words.

The car is still sitting on east Liberty downtown for anyone who lives in Cincy. I am looking for a 951 as a daily driver. My 928 was my every day car and I have an 86 951 that gets all of my attention normally. I am presently pulling out my Autothority maf and guru chips to put in a map sensor and a t04b. So the maf, chips and a power perfect piggy back are available real soon if anyone is interested

I'll have to stop by and take a peek- I work at CBT on 7th and Vine.

Roger- you may want to contact Taj maGaraj for your car, it's a museum piece.

That'll buff out

Sorry to hear that man, hopefully the book is getting thrown at the person that hit you.
Were they insured ?? If not try to grab whatever assets they have before they loose them.

Don
