Have you paid for a membership yet? Give the powers that be a heads up if you have and it just hasn't showed yet. Otherwise, per the charter, it will be deleted.

Just trying to help ya out!

New members are to post their member number in the thread if they wish to post a FS ad before everything is fully set up. At least that's how I thought it worked.

The whole "members only" thing is kinda BS. I think anybody with something valuable to say or sell should be allowed to contribute to the boards, and if they want to contribute money then they can do that too.

To stay on topic, I have a question about your crankshaft. You said it's cross-drilled? What does that mean and what is it for? Does that make the crank lighter and easier to rotate?

Thanks,

well, the logic is as follows:
If you are profiting by using this website as your means of sale, the least you could do is pay the man (and woman!) that make it possible, by spending many hours of their day keeping rennlist up. You pay ebay right?
You don't have to be a member to post, but if your selling stuff, its a different story. Further, this isn't a democracy, doesn't matter what you think. If the owner of the site says these are the rules, those are the rules.
It doesn't bother me all that much that you posted, just spelling it out for you.
What suspension stuff?

i agree with eyal. Come on is 18 bucks a year going to kill u to keep this website and for u to sell items. By the time u advertised in the paper or ebay u could have paid for a membership and help contributed. I don't understand why some of u guys complain about this rule but i am all for it. Running this board ain't cheap and the last thing john d wants is tons of people coming on here just to sell crap and not contributed

Part of the reason for requirement is also due to abuse. There have been a few around here that have abused things. So in effect those few spoil it for many others. So that is one reason their have been more restrictions placed on non-members.

Sad, but true.
